Whether you’re a seasoned beekeeper or just starting out, this class will guide you through building a cell builder, selecting ideal frames, and mastering the grafting process.

Schedule Overview:

10:00 AM - Arrival and Safety Briefing Start the day with a warm welcome and important safety instructions.

10:10 AM - Building the Cell Builder (30 min) Learn about the components and setup of a cell builder and assist in its preparation.

10:40 AM - Selecting Frames for Grafting (20 min) We’ll select and inspect the pre-identified frames together, discussing the criteria for ideal grafting frames.

11:00 AM - Preparation for Grafting (10 min) Set up your personal grafting station with all the tools you'll need.

11:10 AM - Grafting Session (1 hr) After a demonstration of grafting techniques, you’ll have the chance to graft your own bar of cells, with hands-on guidance from our instructors.

12:10 PM - Review and Care for Grafted Cells (20 min) Learn how to place your grafted cells into the cell builder and how to care for them in the days to come.

12:30 PM - Wrap-Up and Q&A (20 min) Lunch Break - (Bring your own lunch ** light snacks provided) We’ll recap the workshop and answer any questions you may have.

12:50 PM - Conclusion and Departure (10 min) Gather feedback and close the session.

Please Note:

• Arrival: Make sure to arrive a few minutes early to settle in.
• What to Bring: Bring your bee suit and any personal beekeeping gear you prefer; all other materials and tools will be provided.
• Weather Consideration: As we will be outdoors, please dress appropriately for the weather.
