MEET KRISTINE

I grew up in Massachusetts, where science was a big part of my life. But when I moved to Virginia, something unexpected happened—I found beekeeping, and it completely changed my path. What started as curiosity quickly turned into a full-blown passion. Before I knew it, I was knee-deep in bees and absolutely loving it.

Now, I care for anywhere between 30 to 100 colonies at my apiary, and each hive feels like its own little world. Beekeeping isn’t just what I do; it’s who I’ve become. It’s hard work, it’s messy, and sometimes it’s heartbreaking—but it’s also deeply rewarding. Watching a hive thrive is pure magic, and I feel so lucky to be part of that process.

I’m proud to be a Virginia Master Beekeeper and to have earned the Langstroth Award, but those achievements are just a reflection of my love and dedication to this craft. Beekeeping has taught me patience, the value of community, and how to find joy in even the smallest things—like the hum of a healthy hive or the golden glow of freshly harvested honey.

Beyond the hives, I’m passionate about sharing what I’ve learned.

I volunteer with local and state organizations to support other beekeepers and teach people about sustainable agriculture. Passing on knowledge feels like planting seeds that will grow into something bigger than any one of us.

In my store, you’ll find things I’ve poured my heart into—raw honey, hand-poured beeswax candles, and soaps made with love. Everything is created sustainably, with care for the bees and the environment.

When you bring something from my apiary into your home, you’re not just supporting a small business—you’re supporting the bees, the earth, and the community we’re all part of.

I hope you’ll join me on this journey. Whether you’re here to learn, shop, or just share in the wonder of bees, I’m so glad you’re here.
